Nature is the artist,
but man is the recognizer!Christa Schyboll
In the merry month of May, BURN-IN presents two artists who are among these perfect recognizers, but who also know exactly how to perfectly stage what they recognize in their respective genres and put it on sheet or paper with great empathy.
The exciting dialogue of botanical painting (Mischa Skorecz) and artistic photography (Mischa Erben) thrives on the direct dialog between the 11 pairs of images. The composition consists of six works with a black background, all of which were created by the photographer. The tension is built up by the changing dialogue between the objects, which thrives on the one hand on the simony (the almost identical image) and on the other hand on the contrapoints (the color, the positioning and the cropping and cropping). The viewer will only be able to classify it as botanical painting or art photography after close inspection. The BURN-IN garden also attracts visitors with further works by the artists, which are composed as ensembles and invite them to linger.
#ROADtoGREEN_ART | The path to green art
Pichler's forest of pictures and Skorecz's and Erben's botanical dialog fit perfectly into the new BURN-IN positioning concept #ROADtoGREEN_ART. In future, the gallery will increasingly focus on artworks with "botanical motifs", offer sculptures for living oases and gardens and open up to the garden architecture and art in architecture sector with "green or greened" installations. Vertical gardens and moss walls will round off the portfolio.
