The curatorial team of BURN-IN Gallery has selected Jörg Dobrovich - DOBRO - for the "awarded thread", the special prize 2015 and organized him a personal exhibition in the gallery. BURN-IN presents 19 significant works of the artist. The title of the exhibition Feuerprobe, selected from the stimulus words for this year's BURN-IN exhibition theme "Ariadnes Faden", symbolizes the life and artistic work of DOBRO and at the same time provides important impulses for the BURN-IN gallery and think tank. For the current BURN-IN coaching formats for corporate culture are also based on the existence of relevant fire tests that stand for sustainable change. The think tank relies on storytelling concepts, the Eisbergmodell and artistic intervention.
Jörg Dobrovich DOBRO was born in Graz and studied painting and art education in Vienna with Dobrowsky, Boeckl and Weiler with a diploma. He was active in the environment of Viennese Actionism and worked as a painting and work therapist in Viennese special penal institutions. His exhibitions were not limited to the European area - as a wanderer between two cultures, he often traveled to Mexico and exhibited his works created there.

Art is self (Er)finding on whose way every artist is.
Painting is inventing: of new contexts of meaning, of other realities beyond the gaze, which goes inward.Painting is representing stories and obsessions.
Myths transfer to the inner landscape: of the unconscious.
