The Croatian painter Snježana Vidović was born in Zenica (Bosnia) and studied civil engineering in Subotica (University of Novi Sad | Diploma 1986). In 1990, she moved to Munich and studied art under the well-known German painter Peter Schermuly, who had a significant influence on the artist.
