Ingeborg Rauss graduated from the European Secretarial Academy, started her artistic training with Prof. Jacobo Borges at the International Summer Academy in Salzburg, studied art science and philosophy at the Catholic Theological Private University in Linz, graduating with a diploma (2001 - 2006), completed a university course with Prof. Brehm and Prof. Billy at the Art University Linz (2000-2003) and studied at the Academy of Painting in Berlin (2007-2011), where she is now a guest lecturer. In addition to her busy exhibition schedule, she is also a founding member of the producer gallery Root in Berlin and author of EX-POSITION. In her series of works, Ingeborg Rauss works with systems of order in interaction with natural laws, whereby man is part of a hierarchy of organizational levels.
