Efrati comes from a Jewish family of artists who fled Poland and Romania after World War II, first to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and then to Israel in the 1970s. The artist spent her childhood in Austria and Belgium, then went to California and completed her studies in business and IT in Israel.
