In the virtual exhibition PROTAGONIST WOMAN (art Feature #36), Alberta presents 21 works by Italian artist Tiziana Trezzi from 1980 - 2018, focusing on highly original photorealistic portraits of women that convince with strong colors and develop an autonomous language. The works amaze with perfect technical execution, depicting detailed anatomies and revealing unexpected connections through graceful narratives while simultaneously enchanting.
The distinctive stylistic expression also appears in the surrealist works from the 1980s. The Cyclops, Morning Meditation, Patron, Odysseus and dthe Pillars of Hercules and Metamorphosis reveal a completely different side of Trezzi that BURN-IN has not yet presented in Austria. In doing so, it creates a superordinate reality that goes beyond the real and includes the unconscious and the dreamlike.
Tizziana Trezzi is one of the absolute masters of chromatology and lives and works in Lissone in Lombardy. Participates in numerous national and international art fairs, including ART BASEL. Top recommendation!
The BURN-IN online depot contains currently 47 works by the artist.
